CANDIDATES
Target audience
The course is directed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in primatology, biological anthropology, animal behavior, tropical ecology, conservation, field biology, and related topics.
Brazilian law prohibits the publication of any information on wild primates unless authors on the manuscript have received written permission, prior to beginning the project to conduct this research, from the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication (CNPq). Therefore, it is a violation of Brazilian law for students in our field course to publish the data they collect as part of their field project.
Pre-requirements
Students enrolled in the course must have proficiency in English, be motivated, willing to learn, proactive, and be able to work both individually and in teams. In addition, it is recommended that students be in good physical condition.
Course Size
We will enroll a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 14 students in the class. Therefore, we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible. In addition, we plan to enroll two Brazilian students in the class (*See Selection Process in the second on Registration).
